Bydd y nodau o\u2019r llyfrau yn cael ei digideiddio o\u2019r llyfr i\u2019r wefan ond rydym yn casglu data am yr arfer o nodi clustiau, er mwyn helpu i warchod a diweddaru\u2019r wybodaeth ddiwylliannol rhag cael eu colli dros amser.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dros 2026, ein nod yw dod \u00e2\u2019r traddodiad hwn i\u2019r oes ddigidol drwy greu platfform rhyngweithiol ar-lein lle gall pobl chwilio am wahanol fathau o nodau clustiau, lleoliad, deall eu hystyr, a dysgu am hanes diwylliannol yr arfer.<\/p>\n

Trwy gasglu data cywir a manwl, byddwn yn gallu adeiladu gwefan sydd nid yn unig yn gwarchod traddodiad Nod Clust ond hefyd yn ei gwneud yn haws i genedlaethau\u2019r dyfodol ymgysylltu ag ef, ei ymchwilio a\u2019i ddefnyddio. Y gobaith yw creu adran ar y wefan hon lle bydd modd chwilio a hidlo nodau, bydd adran o nodau sy\u2019n fyw ac adran o nodau sydd bellach yn archif. Bydd modd hefyd gofyn am nod os ydych yn cychwyn ffermio ac am eu defnyddio. Bydd y nodau o\u2019r llyfrau i gyd yn cael ei digideiddio o\u2019r llyfr i\u2019r wefan gyda enw\u2019r fferm acrydym yn ymchwilio i weld pa rai sydd dal yn \u2018fyw\u2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All the notches from the books will be digitized to the website but we are collecting data about the current practice, to help protect and update the cultural information from being lost over time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 2026, we aim to bring this tradition into the digital age by creating an interactive online platform where people can search for different types of earmarks, location, understand their meaning, and learn about the cultural history of the practice.<\/p>\n

By collecting accurate and detailed data, we will be able to build a website that not only protects the ear notching tradition but also makes it easier for future generations to engage with it, research it and use it. The hope is to create a section on this website where notches can be searched and filtered, there will be a section of notches that are live and a section of characters that are now archived. It will also be possible to request a ear notch if you are starting farming and want to use them. The notches from the books will all be digitized from the book to the website with the name of the farm, we are investigating to see which ones are still ‘alive’.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
